Kingsbury and Jackpot kennels are located on opposite shores of the USA – Kingsbury in California where we focus on Harriers, and Jackpot in Georgia, where we focus on Beagles, Harriers, and English Foxhounds. For over twenty years, our kennels have collaborated.
Of course puppies are occasionally available, but we may also also have younger and older adults available when a hound is not cut out for either show or hunting and would make a good companion, or when a retiring show dog or retiring mother hound is looking for a comfy sofa and family to love.
Located in the high desert of California.
|Welcome to Jackpot. We’re Kevin and Kim Shupenia, a husband and wife team who have bred and shown winning hounds since 1991. We specialize in three breeds: Beagles, Harriers and English Foxhounds. Showing is a fun way to travel the country, meet other competitors, train the hounds, and play with the pack. Ribbons, championships, movie stars, and best-in-shows have given us insights we’re delighted to share. We take seriously our hounds, their health, and our responsibility to them. We pride hounds born in our kennel on their agility and manner as well as their robust health and joy. Visitors will meet up to five generations in Jackpot’s breeding program, from foundation stock to the newest puppies. Occasionally, we have pups for sale as well as those who don’t like to show and are looking for a home.
We look forward to answering your questions to the best of our ability and would appreciate (gentle) corrections if you spot inaccuracies. Enjoy the website!
